Candace Kentride-Britton

Candace started her Yoga journey in 2003 as a student and fell in love with how Yoga can improve so

many aspects of life from mental to physical and spiritual. Candace has practiced Vinyasa Flow for 15

years and has since discovered another huge passion of hers which is the healing power of Hatha Yoga

and this lead her to train and study with Johann Kotze in Muizenberg, Cape Town South Africa.

The benefits of Hatha Yoga allowed Candace to improve in her own practice, gain strength, heal injuries

and discover a calmness and clarity that she loves to share in her classes as well as in her own

mindfulness practice. Candace completed her 200 hour Yoga teacher training in Cape Town before

emigrating back the United States where she was born. Candace also has an extensive dance and fitness

background allowing her to adapt her experience in teaching group classes, private sessions and

observing clients to ensure that have the correct technique and movement. Candace started teaching

Yoga in 2016 and has since qualified with additional restorative Yoga as well as Hatha Yoga and flow
