Meet our Teachers

Welcome to the Yoga Om Studio

Cyndi Embody

Founder

California born and raised, I love the ocean and outdoors. My family is my life, along with my passion for yoga.I went to technical school and have 30 years of medical background.

My philosophy is to be the best you can be and love

what you do.

I teach yoga, breath work and meditation regularly and I believe yoga can improve and even be a cure for many illnesses.

I studied Viniyoga with Gary Kraftsow and recieved my Therapist Degree in 2024. Currently IAYT certified. I embrace the teachings and tools to share with others. Everyday is new and exciting. I have ongoing teacher trainings YA Accredited and my studio Yoga Om Tahoe is my sanctuary to share

Erin Spicer

Erin has been passionate about fitness and body awareness her entire life.  Starting with gymnastics and dance as as kid, Erin discovered yoga in college and has maintained a consistent practice since 2005.  A consistent practice led to the discovery that you can access the deeper parts of your mind and subtle body through asana (postures), working from the outside-in to control emotions and create joy.  And you can also create health and well being through meditation working from the inside-out. In an effort to gain more knowledge to be able to share this passion, Erin studied with Scott Nanamura, of Diamond Heart Yoga, here in South Lake Tahoe and received her RYT-200 in 2017.  Her training is based in Hatha Yoga, working with breath and energetic channels, with a flare of Tibetan Heart Yoga philosophy.

Donny "Love" Roberts

My true passion is Yoga in my 20’s due to a serious car accident and got more serious about it in my 40’s for physical, mental, and mostly spiritual reasons.

I have earned my 500 hour teacher training. I focus on energy ( Chakras) and love to train for healing, breath work and fitness of all levels. I'm a fairly new yoga teacher and still a student myself.

I love working with new people,  whether it be training for an event, healing from injury or mostly just staying balanced for the human condition.

Ardelia Glaude

Ardi is a 200-hour RYT Hatha and Vinyasa yoga teacher devoted to service, lifelong learning, and creating spaces where students feel safe to arrive exactly as they are. Her classes offer a steady pause for those moving through stress, anxiety, and the fullness of modern life.
Guided by curiosity and education, Ardi weaves breath, mindful movement, and thoughtful instruction into practices that invite both understanding and ease. She believes learning deepens connection—helping students trust their bodies and move with intention. With a calm, reassuring presence and quiet warmth, Ardi cultivates a sense of belonging while gently elevating and inspiring students to carry their practice beyond the mat and into daily life.

Ashleigh Goodwin

For Ashleigh, yoga is not performance — it is remembrance. A return to breath, body, stillness, and truth. Inspired by the mountains, movement, and the healing power of presence, her practice is rooted in self-awareness, compassion, and creating space for others to come home to themselves.

Susan Glasson

Many years of running and tennis began to take a toll on her body, so Susan discovered the
healing benefits of a consistent yoga practice. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at
the age of 59 and teaches with the attitude that yoga is for everybody.
Susan creates a safe, non-competitive space for her students to dive beneath the surface of
their daily lives to find deeper meaning and inspiration. Her classes offer creative sequences
with intentional themes, emphasizing alignment, pranayama, and mindfulness. Students are
encouraged to explore different variations of poses without judgment. Both new students and
experienced yogis alike feel welcomed.
Traveling and experiencing new cultures are her passions. Susan organizes and leads Karma
Yoga Cambodia and Flow Through Provence Retreats. These retreats emphasize culture, food,
history, and sharing resources with others.
Based in Lake Tahoe, Susan is a Relax and Renew® Advanced Trainer, a Trauma-Informed
Yoga Teacher, E-RYT-500, and a Certified Stand Up Paddle Yoga Instructor. She completed her
300-hour Advanced Certification with Pete Guinosso, Lighting the Path. She earned her RYT
200 Yoga Alliance certification through Lake Tahoe Yoga School, specializing in Raja Hatha.
Being a lifelong learner, she continues to study both for her understanding and to share with her
students.
